Access Anatomy

Access to the anatomy lab is an amazing privilege and an incredible learning environment that is readily available to Physiotherapy, and medical students.Lisa Anthony is excited to, offer this same opportunity Pilates instructors.

Pilates teachers have a unique understanding of the moving body. Access to anatomy labs with cadaveric specimens will consolidate and deepen your knowledge and appreciation of the human body. This intimate study of the human form beneath the skin is unforgettable.

In this 2 _ hour workshop you will have access to the anatomy laboratories of the University of Newcastle, the assistance of University anatomy tutor, Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Lisa Anthony as well as Physiotherapist and assistant, Andrew Wilson.

We will take a detailed look at cadaveric specimens of the following:

  • the respiratory system
  • the abdominal region
  • the lower limb
  • the upper limb
  • the nervous system
  • the skeletal system

You know the body intimately from the outside in, this is an unmissable opportunity to learn from the inside out.
